We are currently looking for a Production Maintenance Manager for our Commerce, CA. location.
This is a great opportunity for an accomplished hands-on individual with produce maintenance experience to join our team and make a positive impact on our business.
As a Production Maintenance Manager you should have a good working knowledge of maintaining operating condition of the production equipment using approved food safety practices and policies.
- Minimum of 5 years of direct experience in the Food Industry
- Ability to fix slicing and shredding machines and spin dryers and various other produce manufacturing type equipment
- Journeyman level of experience in electrical and refrigeration
- Ability to weld stainless steel and aluminum metals
- Ability to fix pallet jacks and fork lifts
- Must be familiar with Food Safety practices
- Ability to manage and work with little or no direction once familiar with the job
- Effective time management, organization and multi-tasking skills
This is not an entry-level position.
- Ability to analyze information, make decisions, problem solve, prioritize assignments and work in an ever-changing work environment
- Responsible for ensuring daily maintenance is completed in a timely manner. All directives given by the respective supervisor and /or management are executed accurately and efficiently.
- Responsible for the safe maintenance, installation, repair or replacement of equipment and systems, to ensure maximum production quantity and quality
- Support the policies, goals and objectives of the company
- Prepare reports, analyze data, and make recommendations for improving maintenance operations and solving maintenance-related problems
- Review, monitor, and ensure the operation of equipment and systems are optimized to minimize unplanned interruptions and identify opportunities for improvement
