We are exploiting a financial and environmental arbitrage opportunity by building a distributed network of local greenhouse farms. Our long-term fixed-price contracts with supermarkets are unique to the industry, reducing risk, attracting project finance and enabling scale.
We are currently looking to add a Key Account Manager to our team.
As a Key Account Manager you will be responsible for driving product sell-through to a key customer in the Mid-Atlantic region. You will work directly with clients to forecast, execute and monitor weekly sales orders. You are also responsible for field level selling and relationship management – measured by per store volume growth. You will also have frequent interaction at the store level, creating strong relationships with produce managers.
- 3-5 years selling and customer management experience (ideally in the supermarket channel).
- Strong organizational skills that reflect the ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly with excellent attention to detail.
- Very strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with stakeholders, including staff, customers and external partners.
- Expert level written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience in sales analytics and reporting.
- Forward looking thinker, who actively seeks opportunities and proposes solutions.
- Frequent travel to customers/stores in the Northeast/Mid-Atlantic region required.

- Lead day-to-day relationships with clients in regards to order processing, sell-through rates and order/delivery logistics.
- Coordinate weekly forecasts with greenhouse production teams, communicate to clients and proactively manage orders to ensure 100% of greenhouse volume is sold through to client partners on a weekly basis.
- Develop and maintain excellent store level relationships at client partners.
- Analyze and report weekly sales trends to BrightFarms leadership team.
- Partner with greenhouse production teams to ensure optimal planting and harvesting aligned with customer needs.
