Job Description:
Braga Ranch is currently seeking a Fertilizer and Pesticide Applicator in Soledad, California and Yuma, Arizona.
Position Reports to:
Application Supervisor
Requirements:
- California Class A license
- Qualified Applicators License is preferred
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Work under the direction of an Application Supervisor to apply fertilizers and pesticides.
- Schedule will generally be Monday to Saturday with the possibility of working on some Sundays and holidays.
- The daily start time will be dependent on the nature and location of the day’s work.
- The position will follow the operation to the Yuma area annually and back again to the Salinas Valley in the spring.
- The employee may be tasked with driving a truck one day, applying fertilizers the next, and applying pesticides on the following day.
- The job of the day will be dependent on the needs the grower has at that time.
