We are seeking a motivated and experienced Vice President of Corporate Development to join our team.

As the Vice President of Corporate Development you will be responsible for developing and managing sales accounts at the national corporate level. This includes finding new corporate accounts, managing buying and handling of all sales, and troubleshooting any issues that may arise.   

To be a successful Vice President of Corporate Development you must have an exceptionally strong knowledge of all fruits and vegetables. You will have your own book of business and contacts that you will utilize to create new customers for our company along with creating new contacts within the produce industry. You must possess the self-motivation and drive to expand our development department and make it the driving force for our business growth and opportunities.

Requirements: 
  • 5 years of prior national produce sales experience, highly desirable
  • College degree preferred in related field
  • Strong Computer proficiency, a plus
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
  • Excellent organizational & negotiating skills
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to make sound decisions and solve problems
  • Must have a, “Whatever it takes”, attitude
Responsibilities & Duties: 
  • Proactively creating opportunities for additional sales with new corporate accounts at a national level and existing customers
  • Seeking to improve sales revenue in line with established sales targets
  • Maintaining complete and accurate records of all sales and customers
  • Maintaining and developing working relationships with the team
  • Must have a good working relationship with your customers
  • Providing sales support and superior customer service to existing customers while also acquiring new clientele
  • As the department grows, manage sales team and supporting staff
