We are currently looking for a capable individual to supervise a large-scale harvesting operation as a Harvest Supervisor in Santa Maria, CA!

Requirements:
- Combination of education, training, and applied knowledge in Vegetable Production
- Previous experience in this area of work
- The ability to make independent decisions and solve issues in a timely manner
- Maintain efficiency, speed, and quality of harvest crews
- Maintain and enforce policies and procedures
- Maintain and enforce a safe work environment
- Work 6 days per week
- Must be bilingual in English and Spanish
- Willingness to travel to Yuma, Arizona during winter operations
- Ability to perform other related duties as required
- Ability to speak Spanish
- Proficiency with computer skills (Excel, Word, Email)
- Strong problem solving skills

Responsibilities & Duties:
- Develop, coach, and mentor many different people and personalities in order to build a strong team
- Develop and maintain good working relationship with Owners and Management
- Coordinate, equipment, employees, and foremen to safely and efficiently complete daily harvest orders
- Be able to travel to different fields
- Figure out loads per field and how many fields are being harvested
- Figure the quality tonnage
- Consult with growers
- Researches, plans, organizes, orders truck, and set-up for harvest
- Go over condition of fields for harvesting and deal with any related problems and other duties as assigned
- Offer guidance and instruction to harvesting foreman
- Records information, such as Quality, Supply, Timing, Yield
- Inspects equipment to ensure proper functioning
- Enforces safety regulations and ensures policies are followed
- Evaluates financial statements and makes budget proposals
- Perform other related duties as assigned
