Sales Representative

Job Description:

Plants receive all nutrients through a proprietary mineral solution that continually bathes the root system. The environmentally controlled atmosphere caters to the needs of the plants and helps ensure the optimal quality our customers have come to appreciate and expect.

We are currently looking for a Sales Representative to join our team in Washington.

As a Sales Representative you will serve as a Brand Ambassador for our company branded product line and as Category Leader within the industry.  You will establish the company as a true leader in its field through the building of relationships, and profitable win / win partnerships.

The successful candidate will be driven towards achieving daily, weekly, monthly and annual goals with a high sense of urgency and timeliness. They will also maintain a professional, energetic and positive appearance/attitude in the field – in order to set the company apart from all other competitors.

Requirements: 
  • College degree or industry equivalent desired.
  • Agricultural/pharmaceutical sales experience a plus.
  • Attention to detail, and ability to communicate effectively and professionally.
  • Independently driven and highly motivated.
  • Proven ability to achieve sales targets.
  • Cash handling experience.
Responsibilities & Duties: 
  • Increase sales in respective accounts.
  • Daily representation of company and product line in the field.
  • Deliver product, sell product, collect payment and deliver cash per agreed upon schedule.
  • Maintain regular face to face contact with all customers.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of account needs, placement of product line, and sales cycle.
  • Execute upon merchandising recommendations to support sales and marketing strategies.
  • Maintain a healthy relationship with all team members – sales, marketing, operations, finance, HR, etc., through the demonstration of respect, honesty and open communication.
  • Identify opportunities and threats through execution of daily responsibilities in the field.
  • Execute upon sales goals.
  • Arrive on time and duly prepared for all sales team meetings and/or customer meetings.
  • Timely completion of required paperwork.
