Job Description:
We are currently seeking an experienced Evening Production Supervisor in Compton, California. This person will ensure safe operations of warehouse activities while meeting the productions schedules.
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Develops operational plan for daily loads, communicates with lead personnel.
- Oversees that workers are following both personal and food safety procedures.
- Oversees staffing needs are adequate to complete daily loads.
- Monitors a variety of operational data, including inventory and production goals.
- Oversees warehouse condition in compliance with OSHA requirements.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years experience in a warehouse supervisory position.
- Fresh produce experience desired.
- Basic computer skills and inventory control experience
- Familiar with OSHA and HACCP requirements.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
- Able to work evenings and weekends.
- Able to work in a cold environment of 35-55 degrees.
