Bee Sweet Citrus, Inc. -(Fowler, CA) is seeking an energetic, motivated individual(s) to manage several of its fresh citrus packing lines. The position is responsible for the coordinating, sorting and packing of over one million cartons of fresh California citrus.
The position is full-time, year-round salaried with benefits. Experience and/or education managing people is a must, along with computer knowledge and skills. Experience in the agricultural food packing/processing industry is preferred. Spanish-speaking is a plus.
Job duties include:
Oversight of a line supervisors in charge of packers, graders and general labor employees for the packing of the fresh citrus products, operating state-of-the-art sorting equipment, time-based production management, and the integration of modern food safety requirements.
- Bachelor’s degree required (or a minimum of 5 years production line management)
- Ability to work effectively and efficiently in a team environment and relate well to others
- Ability to show initiative and commitment to the company’s goals
- Ability to readily adapt to changing requirements
- Strong commitment to performing and producing at the highest level of quality at all times
- Ability to manage individual workflow effectively and improve processes when necessary
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with coworkers both written and verbally
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
- Bi-lingual (English/Spanish Preferred)
