Job Description:

We are currently looking for a Director of Business Systems in either Salinas, CA or Yuma, AZ.

As the Director of Business Systems you will be responsible for the overall planning, organizing and execution of all information systems for the organization, and management of all outsourced resources. 

This includes directing all IT operations to meet customer requirements as well as the support and maintenance of existing applications and development of new technical solutions.

Requirements: 
  • Minimum of eight (8) years of experience within information technology.
  • Experience in Microsoft Dynamics NAV/AX preferred.
  • Experience in business intelligence tools.
  • Experience in Jet Reports preferred.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills a must.
  • Punctual.
  • Ability to work independently, as well as in a team environment.
  • Advanced skills in MS Word, Outlook and Excel.
  • Solid mathematical aptitude and effective project management skills.
  • Analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail.
  • Ability to gather and interpret relevant data and information.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Ability to analyze and document complex business processes.
  • Travel to Yuma, AZ & Salinas, CA required.
Responsibilities & Duties: 
  • Collect and analyze business requirements and transfer the same knowledge to the development team, outside consultants, and IT vendors to meet the Company’s business needs.
  • Ensure the consistency and maintainability of existing applications by creating, maintaining, and enforcing standards/procedures for implementing technical solutions.
  • Responsible for the research, coordination, selection and purchase of equipment and support materials.
  • Oversee projects in alignment with organizational goals.
  • Direct the effective delivery of networks, development and disaster recovery systems of processes.
  • Prepare accurate and detailed requirement specifications documents, user interface guides, and functional specification documents.
  • Prepare financial budgets and present proposals for capital projects to senior executives.
  • Tailor training programs for new users for on-going training to increase efficiency of use and to go in-depth with users, and to help them understand how to get the maximum utility from the system.
  • Manage relationship with ERP Partner, including system modifications and enhancements, and resolving programming and user issues.
  • Administer ERP security, roles and permissions, and set up new users.
  • Work with vendors to implement EDI, Warehousing, Packing and Shipping, and all necessary Company program needs.
  • Assist in supporting the day to day use of company systems.
Education: 
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or information systems.
