Ayco Farms, a major produce company in Pompano Beach, FL is seeking an experienced fresh produce sales professional.
The company is a grower, importer, and shipper that sells to top national supermarkets, major wholesalers, and food service companies in the U.S. and Canada. Ayco Farms, Inc. has grown by double digits for the past five years. Ayco Farms, Inc. sells over 15 different Fresh Produce commodities and consistently looks to expand their product line.
Due to the volume and growth Ayco Farms has already hired two additional sales representatives in 2016, and looks to continue to expand its sales department in 2016 and 2017. Come join the exciting Ayco sales team located in sunny South Florida!
Responsibilities:
As a member of our team you will sell our fresh fruit and vegetable product line to national retail and wholesale accounts. You will be responsible for handling produce for large volume sales accounts by identifying market levels, anticipating customer needs, managing sales margins, entering customer orders and expanding the customer base, while providing superior customer service.
Qualifications:
- A proven track record in fresh fruit and/or vegetables sales, preferably melons, asparagus, bell peppers, or pineapples.
- Minimum of two years related experience
- Proficiency with FAMOUS or related product
- BA/BS Degree preferred but not required
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office products
