Growing food service distributor seeking a dependable customer service minded individual who works well with others in a fast-paced team oriented sales environment. Strong leadership, communication skills and self-motivation are just some of the character traits we are looking for. In addition, the applicant must be out-going and have a willingness to accept guidance/coaching and supervision from management. Full-time early am “produce hours” schedule.
This is an entry level customer service/sales position. You will be a member of a sales team that is responsible for providing exceptional customer service by accurately processing orders, identifying selling opportunities, and responding effectively to customer needs in a customer focused work environment. You will be tasked with documenting and communicating your daily customer interactions both verbally and in writing using customer relationship management software.
- Fluent in both English and Spanish
- Ability to communicate verbally and in writing effectively and coherently. (English/Spanish)
- Basic computing skills. (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Great attitude and willingness to learn.
- Experience in produce is a plus.

- Order entry
- Product re-ordering
- Build and manage customer relationships while influencing sales
- Identify, track and close selling opportunities
- Monthly sales analysis and reporting
- Cashiering (cash handling)
