We are currently looking for an experienced Produce Sales Associate to join our team in Yakima, WA.

As the Produce Sales Associate you will be responsible for achieving sales goals and helping to develop business with new and current customers, while providing outstanding customer service.

Requirements: 
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
  • 2 years of produce sales experience in a brokerage atmosphere is preferred.
  • Current client base and the ability to solicit and develop new and long lasting professional relationships.
  • Energetic, aggressive, outgoing professional attitude/personality.
  • Growth and sales oriented and the ability to work and succeed in a team atmosphere.
  • Effective communication and customer service skills.
  • Mid-level experience with MS Office and other computer programs such as spreadsheets, word processing, email, etc.
  • Self-motivated and willing to take initiative.
  • Drive and motivation to generating new business, and maintain current relationships.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.
Responsibilities & Duties: 
  • Have current business and willingness to expand into new markets.
  • Manage customer and grower/shipper relations.
  • Identify new sales opportunities.
  • Grow and maintain business within existing accounts.
  • Communicate with customers and suppliers negotiating commodities, pricing, and pickup/delivery schedules.
  • Ensure that each customer receives outstanding service by providing a friendly environment, which includes good telephone etiquette, and all other aspects of customer service.
  • Maintaining complete and accurate records of all sales and customers.
  • Performs other duties as required.
