Albert’s Organics is seeking a Produce Buyer III to work out of our facility located in Mounds View, MN.
This exciting position will conduct replenishment buying of produce, new product sourcing, and interfacing with sales department on purchasing initiatives, while maintaining strong vendor relationships. Essential duties include, but are not limited to: maintaining regular communication with sales team members on new products, sales, and marketing goals; conducting data entry into purchasing system for pricing, promotions, and other activities; maintaining and overseeing pricing and margins; developing sales and promotional materials towards top-line sales and margin growth for the region; expanding business with the existing customer base, and developing strong customer partnerships to ensure the success of the fresh program.
Ideal Candidate:
- The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent training/experience and 5+ years’ experience in replenishment buying and inventory control management.
- Other experience with perishables, organics, and natural products a plus.
- Must have strong negotiating skills, excellent communication skills, ability to effectively multi-task, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and ability to be a strong team player.
