Job Description:
Albert’s Organics, America’s largest, most knowledgeable organic, fresh foods distributor and subsidiary of United Natural Foods, is seeking an Accounts Payable Representative for our Swedesboro, NJ corporate office.
This position is responsible for timely, efficient processing and accurate payment of vendor invoices, researching and resolving problem invoices, analyzing inventory activity and reviewing documentation such as bills of lading and purchase orders, preparing month end inventory and other accruals, and acting as a resource in matters such as vendor payment history in a fast-paced accounting environment.
Qualifications:
- Qualified candidates will have a AA/AS degree in Business or Accounting or equivalent training & experience.
- 3 to 5 years accounts payable experience, preferably in the produce or food industry.
- Good computer skills; proficient using Accounts Payable systems and Microsoft applications, especially Word, Excel and Outlook; competent to learn and adapt to new computer applications, system upgrades and other technology as necessary.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills in a high volume accounts payable processing environment with ability to prioritize and plan work activities, using time efficiently. Able to meet deadlines & accomplish team objectives.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem solving skills; able to resolve issues appropriately and in a timely manner.
- Able to develop and maintain effective, positive internal/external working relationships with a diverse group of individuals; a team player.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays, as necessary.
