Fresh Link is comprised of a team of seasoned sales people with a combined 100+ years of experience delivering quality produce to customers throughout the East Coast, Midwest and Canada.  We are in need of an FOB Sales professional with strong organizational skills who is flexible and thrives in the fast paced world of fresh produce.
 
The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a true passion for the produce industry.  We are looking for a flexible, high-energy individual with at least three years of sales (or sales-support) experience in fresh produce.

Responsibilities & Duties: 
  • Sales of various commodities including Green beans, peppers, carrots and sweet potatoes
  • Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing clients
  • Building and maintaining a strong rapport with supply partners
  • Provide excellent customer service and ensure client satisfaction at all times
  • Process and track orders
  • Monitor inventory levels and delivery schedules
  • Keep abreast of market conditions, competitor’s products and pricing and make adjustments based on changing market conditions
  • Monitor accounts receivables and take steps to bring accounts with in terms
Qualifications: 
  • 3+years of experience in the produce industry selling fresh produce
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Must possess knowledge of produce sales and principles, to adjust to changing market conditions
  • A strong sense of urgency and excellent customer services skills are key factors in the success of this role
